Leo & Loy, LLC is a full-service outplacement and career consulting firm based in San Diego, California, comprised of seasoned recruiting professionals from a wide range of industries across the United States. Founded in 2020 by Katie Molloy and Keegan Leopold, Leo & Loy supports companies with up to 5,000 employees with customized outplacement packages for all levels of displaced employees and individuals going through career transitions. Comprehensive services include guiding individuals through career transitions and assisting in every aspect of the job search. The firm’s SmartMatch technology matches each client with a team member with extensive experience in the client’s chosen industry. As a female-owned company, the firm uses the lioness symbol to represent strength, development, prosperity and success. The name comes from the last names of the two founders, Keegan Leopold and Katie Molloy.
Founder and President
Founder and President Katie Molloy has more than 25 years of professional experience in workforce solutions, recruitment, career coaching, sales and operations, most recently as Vice President of Client Services for one of the world’s largest HR Services organizations. Prior to that role, Molloy spent four years at a local clinical staffing company where she built and lead a successful recruitment outsourcing and permanent placement division. Earlier in her career, Molloy held strategic management roles, including partnership director for a major staffing company, where she and her team successfully managed one of the earliest recruitment outsourcing engagements at a top entertainment studio in Burbank, California. Molloy has served as a big sister for Big Brothers Big Sisters of America for 25 years and provides pro bono career coaching through San Marcos High School and is active with resettling refugees in San Diego County. Molloy resides in San Marcos, California with her husband Jeff, daughters Sarah and Sophie, and dog Bella.
Co-founder and Head of Operations
Co-founder and Head of Operations Keegan Leopold spent 20 years in education, during which time she also launched and ran her own business, Obsessively Organized by Keegan. Her early career included multiple administrative and operational roles at W.F. Leopold Management as well as media and advertising experience. Active in her community, Leopold has organized Girls’ Soccer Camps and served as a Girl Scout Troop Leader. A recent transplant from the Los Angeles area, Leopold lives in Del Mar, California with her daughters Keira, Kylie, and Edie, and their two cats.
